An articulating borescope for your iPhone

A straight borescope only sees what's in front of it. On Reach 360 you turn a wheel on the handle and the 6.2 mm camera tip bends up to 180° one way or the other, so you can look up, down and back around a corner inside a wall cavity, an engine or a drain.

Why a bending tip matters

Push a straight camera through a hole in drywall and it shows you the back of the opposite wall. The leak, the wire or the mouse nest is usually above or below the hole. An articulating tip turns to look along the cavity, then back toward the hole you came in through.

The same goes for an engine through the spark plug hole, the inside of a drain trap, an air duct or the space behind a built-in appliance: the part you need to see is rarely straight ahead.

Which phones it works with

USB-C iPhones from iPhone 15 to iPhone 18, and Android phones with USB-C. The phone clips onto the handle, so you steer with one hand and watch the screen at the same time. The maker's free app is linked in the manual.

Lightning isn't confirmed for this model. For iPhone 14 and older, choose Reach Duo — it has a 2-in-1 Lightning and USB-C plug.

How to use it

  1. Clip the phone onto the handle and plug in the cable.
  2. Slide the tip in through a small hole, a vent or a drain. A hole a little wider than 6.2 mm is enough — a 5/16 in (8 mm) drill bit gives it room.
  3. Turn the steering wheel to bend the tip and look around.

Let an engine cool down before you put the camera in, and keep the tip off moving parts.

Articulating or dual-lens?

A dual-lens scope gets around corners differently: it has a second camera on the side of the tip instead of a tip that bends. Here's how the two compare.

Questions

How small a hole will it go through?

The camera tip is 6.2 mm (about ¼ in) across, so a hole a little wider than that is enough.

Does it work with iPhone?

Yes, with USB-C iPhones from iPhone 15 to iPhone 18. For older iPhones with Lightning, choose Reach Duo.

Is it waterproof?

The camera tip is rated IP67, so it's fine in a wet wall cavity, a drain or a tank.

How long is the cable?

1 m (3.3 ft). It's semi-rigid, so it holds the shape you bend it to.

Can I return it?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery if it's unused and in its original packaging. If it doesn't work with a phone we list as compatible, we refund you in full, including return shipping.
